By day, I’m a nurse, but Rose Island Originals grew from another part of me—the part that has always loved making things, learning new skills, and bringing people together.

What started with handmade projects has grown into a creative gathering place in Sebewaing, Michigan, where friends, families, coworkers, and neighbors can slow down, try something new, and make something they’re genuinely proud of.

And you definitely don’t have to consider yourself “creative” to belong here.

At Rose Island Originals, we take care of the supplies, preparation, and guidance so you can enjoy the best part: creating, laughing, connecting, and spending time with your people.

You’ll find instructor-guided workshops, private events, DIY projects, seasonal creations, personalized pieces, and plenty of opportunities to try something you may have never done before.

For me, it has never been just about the project you take home. It’s about the experience you have while you’re making it.
